Context

Battleship Texas steamed, berthed, and operated with hundreds of ships from the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and other fleets across the globe throughout her time in commission from 1914 to 1948. USS Vermont (BB-20) was a Connecticut-class battleship commissioned from March 4, 1907, to June 30, 1920. She was sold for scrap on November 30, 1923.
