3" gun pointed to the left of the photo over a cargo ship. Back date stamped April 26, 1978. Written in pen "in Houston Ship Channel, a ship passes under a gun of Battleship Texas at San Jacinto Battlegrounds"

Context

The Battleship Texas Museum was operated by the Battleship Texas Commission from 1948 to 1983. She was located at San Jacinto State Park on the Houston Ship Channel.
