Norman Deichsel was a PM2c on Battleship Texas from September 1942 to October 1944. He continued to support Battleship Texas and visit her as a museum until his death in 2006.
Paul Schubert was a junior officer aboard Battleship Texas in 1919. He published the first edition in 1930. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, he added three chapters in a 1942 edition.Collection
