Battleship Texas participated in various fleet maneuvers and exercises in the Atlantic Ocean (1919) and later Pacific Ocean from July 1919 through January 1924. Beginning in February 1923, maneuvers became known as Fleet Problems, which continued to 1939.
Lawrence Gaddis collected many souvenirs during his travels around North and South America, as well as from events held on the ship or by the crew, and articles mentioning Battleship Texas in the papers.
USS Idaho (BB-42) was a New Mexico-class battleship commissioned from March 24, 1919, to July 3, 1946. She was sold for scrap on November 24, 1947.Collection
