Bluejackets’ Manual has significant deterioration on the front cover, leaving a large dark spot on the center of the cover, with white faded regions on the outside. Interior pages very delicate.
Manual was donated by CJ Doiron in memory of John B. "Jabe" Dunlap Jr., military historian and founding member of the Eisenhower Center at the University of New Orleans, and Stephen Ambrose, forerunner of the WWII Museum.
Manual was owned by Dunlap, who was neighbors with donor.Context
