Lid to a cigarette box sold by the Battleship Texas museum. Painted with water-soluble paint. Hard plastic feel. Center of lid has a white circular decal of battleship Texas, wrapped with "Battleship Texas" on the top, and "San Jacinto Battleground" on the bottom. Similar cigarette boxes date to the 1950s.Context
The Battleship Texas Museum was operated by the Battleship Texas Commission from 1948 to 1983. She was located at San Jacinto State Park on the Houston Ship Channel.Collection
