Context

Battleship Texas was flagship of Battleship Division One from September 15, 1931, to June 27, 1937. She continued to participate in Fleet Problems throughout this period. The crew of Battleship Texas made holiday cards and gifts for those back home, and occasionally held holiday events when in port.
