Description

Large group of children standing in front of crewmembers. Man dressed as Santa near middle. Christmas tree vaguely visible in background. back says "presents for the [orphans] Santa brought by the crew of the Texas" Christmas in early 1930s.

Context

Battleship Texas was flagship of Battleship Division One from September 15, 1931, to June 27, 1937. She continued to participate in Fleet Problems throughout this period.
