Alter in ship compartment with chaplain/preacher on right. White sheet with Greek cross on left. Back says "the alter stage ready for Texas services..." Christmas in early 1930s.

Context

Battleship Texas was flagship of Battleship Division One from September 15, 1931, to June 27, 1937. She continued to participate in Fleet Problems throughout this period.
