Norman Deichsel was a PM2c on Battleship Texas from September 1942 to October 1944. He continued to support Battleship Texas and visit her as a museum until his death in 2006.
Come on Texas is a biography of Battleship Texas through 1930, and written by Paul Schubert, who was a junior officer on Texas in 1919. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Schubert added three more chapters published in the 1942 edition.Collection
