Description

Context

Battleship Texas steamed, berthed, and operated alongside hundreds of ships from the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and other fleets across the globe throughout her time in commission from 1914 to 1948. USS Merrimack (AO-37) was a Kennebec-class fleet oiler commissioned from February 4, 1942, to December 20, 1954. She was sold on March 19, 1982.
