Blue slacks owned by Laurence Gaddis.

Context

Lawrence Gaddis collected many souvenirs during his travels around North and South America, as well as from events held on the ship or by the crew, and articles mentioning Battleship Texas in the papers. Dress Blues were the standard uniform for the enlisted sailor in the Navy, and included a jumper, trousers, white hat, and blue cap. Patches denoting sailor rate were on their right arm. Sailors also received handkerchiefs, socks, and many other articles.
