Peter Fiedler was the first captain of the nuclear cruiser USS Texas (CGN-39) from October 1975 to January 1979. He supervised construction, and took official command on September 10, 1977, when the cruiser was commissioned.
USS Lawrence (DDG-4) was a Charles F. Adams-class guided-missile destroyer commissioned from January 6, 1962, to March 30, 1990. She was scrapped on October 28, 2004.Collection
