Battleship Texas was flagship of Battleship Division One from September 15, 1931, to June 27, 1937. She continued to participate in Fleet Problems throughout this period.
Charleton A. Bishop enlisted on December 27, 1932, and joined the crew of Battleship Texas as a Sea2c on June 3, 1933. He advanced to Sea1c on June 1, 1935, and was still listed onboard in December 1935. BTF does not have enlisted crew rosters for 1936 or 1937, and Bishop was not listed in records from 1938.
Ephriam Dickson was the executive director of Battleship Texas Foundation from June 1995 to February 1999. In addition to his duties, he conducted extensive research on and heavily collected items for the crew of Battleship Texas. He later donated his collection back to BTF.Collection
