Scope and Content

A wartime propaganda poster by Wesley Heyman depicts a scene of a cocker spaniel dog resting on a scarf that belongs to its owner in front of a gold star flag implying that the owner died combat. The caption, "...because somebody talked!," further implies that this dog's owner's death is because someone shared sensitive information. The back of the poster includes background information on the poster and also includes two posters by Stevan Dohanos. Dohanos also provided propaganda posters for the "Don't Talk" series. The two Dohanos posters are of a sinking ship and a hand with a swastika ring filling a puzzle of information.
