19th Century Doll. Bisque face with brown glass eyes that close. Eyelashes and eyebrows. Four front teeth and dimple in chin. Blonde ringlets with bangs. Hinged wrists, elbows, hips and knees. Composition body. Turquoise bow in hair. Replacement wig that has been glued down. Replacement ribbon.
Original clothing.
B. Dress has a eyelet collar with points. Bodice has three vertical rows of coordinating eyelet. Narrow row of lace where it is gathered heavily below to the above the waist. Wide waistband with a 2 1/4" turquoise satin ribbon that is pleated on the front and sides ending in a bow in the back. Drop waist where it is gathered and has a horizontal row of eyelet. Sleeves are gathered, full length, gathered at th wrist with an eyelet edge. Snap on sleeve. Back has two buttons, one at the neck and one above the bodice with a snap at the waist.
C. Slip - full length, sleeveless and is heavily gathered at the waist. Three sections of pleats of two 1/8" wide followed by another that is 1/2" wide. Ruffle at the bottom. 6801 in ink at back seam,
D. Pantaloons Waistband with pleats. Gathered below the knee with a band having a lace edge. Hook and eye closure on the back. Appear to be newer. Have a zig-zag stitch on the bottom edge.
E. Knit stockings that go above the knee with a diamond pattern. Appropriate, not original.
F. Black vinyl replacement shoes with a strap. Snap on the side. Edges are topstitched. Yellow hard sole with separate heel. Made in Taiwan marking on the bottom.
