Newspaper article, "Bay View Marks 30 Years on West Shore," by Kathy Gray from October 5, 1978. Bay View Hospital commemorates it's care facility's 30th anniversary. This year will be the last for the Hospital operating out of the former W.H. Lawrence estate. By 1981, it will be operating out of the West Shore Hospital on the Westlake Health Campus. Article provides photos capturing the grandeur of the Lawrence estate. The first photo is of the entrance hall showing the Victorian charm of the home. The next two photos are of the exterior of the building showing off the turrets and historic charm.
