Black layered dress with net and silk. Bodice of neck is of netting with squared neckline outlined on the vertical seams with sequined straps. Bodice and sleeves are net and beaded in arched designs. Skirt is comprised of a underlayer of synthetic material, gauze with a sequined strip on the hem, two layers of gauze with tassels scattered and peplum of gauze with heavy beading in large scalloped pattern. Back closures are snaps and hook and eyes. Silk lining in bottom half of bodice, may have been a camisole. There now exists a beige canvas ribbon which may have been put in for support.
