Black silk crepe waist with a high lace collar opening in the front with white trim on the edge. Front has a panel of black lace where both sides come to a V in the front. Hook and eye closed black panel under the top. Front closes with a few hook and fabric eyes. Small pleats going vertically down the front creating a waist. Larger pleat is at the shoulder seam matching up with one on the back. Sleeves are slightly gathered at the top and have pleats near the elbow that are sewn part way creating a puffed effect. Bottom of the sleeve has a half circle of the main fabric with lace extending below it with white lace on the bottom edge.
Back has open lace below the neckline in a rectangle. Lace is outlined with a folded fabric binding that is only stitched on one side and loops to create a design. 6" black lace extends from the seam and is loose. Back is pleated below this area.
