Black silk waist with black jet beading and stays. There may have been a collar that has been cut off. The yoke is rounded with three 1 1/2" rows of rouched fabric and beads sewn between the rows. Fabric has a brocade type print. There are four tucks opeing toward the middle at the waist. The waistband has also been cut where there was probably a skirt attached. The sleeves have a mutton top with a fitted sleeve starting near the top. The cuff is a fine netting with pink flowered embroidery attached with beading above the netting. 14 stays in the bodice. Lining is a beige square pattern with red lines running through the block bands. Three buttonhole tabs in the back by the waistband.
Back is simple with the sleeve being set deeper into the back area than normal.
