Bed/Boudoir doll. Composition head with mohair original set wig with stitching down the middle and braided coils on either side. Heavy blue eye make-up above and below the eyes and heart shaped red lips. Black cat eyes. Red dots on the nostrils and at the corner of the eyes. Lightly arched thin eyebrows.
Flange head with fabric body of polished cotton. Neck inserted into the body, shoulders stitched with mitten hands. Legs attached with stitching on the outside. Torso may have been blue and limbs cream color. Feet shaped in an elongated L. Stockings of nylon with lace top and pink ribbon as a garter at the knee.
Possible replacement lace and pink silk ribbon pantaloons that are sewn onto the doll at the waist. Two bands of ribbon.
Pink inexpensive net, probably original sewn to the doll as a petticoat. Two layers. No hem or binding.
Dress: Gold ribbed nylon fabric with the selvedge used as the hem without being turned and at the bottom of the sleeves. Neckline is lined on the back with a kelly green fabric. Open back skirt with gold upholstery edging down both sides of the slit that opens in the middle. Inserted under the skirt is the same fabric with a green lace overlay, 60's lace and trim. Bottom has a white daisy with a green centers. Back is basted together with green thread. Top of sleeves is slightly gathered. Braiding the front neck. Gathered waist. Black round plastic buttons with a large rhinestone in the middle (one missing) and five smaller ones surrounding it.
Original dress may have been a floral. Hollywood look type face.Dimensions
