A framed lithograph print featuring Byron and Marianna gazing at each other as Byron writes with a quill pen. They are sitting on a yellow couch with a green drape behind them. Marianna is dressed in a faded purple pink dress and Byron is dressed in blue. The print reads: "Byron and Marianna. / Dear Tom, I really cannot go on; there are a pair of great black eyes looking over my shoulder so that / I must turn and answer them instead of you." The lithography and publishing is by "N. Currier." It is numbered 165. The frame is plain rough hewn wood joined with nails. It is stained orange. The backing is paper taped to the frame with a wire hanger. The paper appears to be an old surveyor's drawing.
