burnt down by the fire dept. in the 1960's
...this is the EAST SIDE of the building, a driveway ran along this side down tot he dance hall & boat house
...inside the arched doors were large wine presses........
Back: Diagram of the property showing the Hotel with porches all around, hall covered with myrtle, dance hall, boat house, kitchen (house still exists 2001) [recently sold and still standing in 2025], barn was on top of the hill where oval is, barn & fields of grapes, Wischmeyer house. Glen Park, Lake Road and Douglas are listed for reference.
