The article discusses briefly the history of the old Bay View Hospital in Bay Village on Lake Road (now Cashelmara condominiums). Discusses Washington Irving, the man who originally built it, the Doctors Sheppard who turned it into a hospital, and how it was converted into condominiums in the early 1980s.
