English Traditional Spinning Wheel. The hardware was hand forged. The scores in the wood were made by hand on a lathe of some type as were the legs and distaff [which is missing the distal portion]. Most of the wheel is still original and quite functional. The needles on the fly were restored by Mr. Freeman. The pitman rod was remade but the treadle, base, wheel are original. The tension key, wooden pegs and mother are also original.
