Proposal of a new hospital in Westlake to be discussed at a town meeting at Bay United Methodist Church.
West Shore Health Care Center, a joint effort between Bay View and Fairview General hospitals, invited St. John Hospital to enter the venture...there is a proposal to have two separate hospital wings, West Shore and St. John with a central core of ancillary facilities to be shared jointly.
John A. Rowland will present a visual presentation [script 2026.12.10] on why the merger is advantageous. Peter M. Fronzier, executive director of St. John Hospital and Mrs. Jane Hall, executive director of the Bay church's Commission on Missions and Social Concerns will also be talking.Collection
