The home of Peter and Cynthia D'Angelo at 26565 Lake Rd. was one of 18 homes recently designated as historic by the Bay Village Historical Society. This home was owned formerly in 1854 by Henry Wischmeyer, a German immigrant who also built a resort hotel at 26556 Lake Rd. Plaquing historic homes was a program sponsored by the historical society as part of the 175th historic celebration of Dover Township. For more details on the celebration see page F1.
