Dear Helen,
I have received from Mr. T.A. Johnson, a grandson of our fathers' Uncle Belcher Johnson of Salisbury N.Y., a very helpful genealogy of our ancestry in Cahoon line. Beginning with Wm. Cahoon of Swansea R.I. who came to America in 1669 he traces the line to the seventh generation. Also gives our Rathburn, Wilbur Mosher and Harndel ancestry to the early years of the seventeenth century. These are from marriages of our numerous grandfathers with great prefixed in several degrees. Will you not help me with your family that I may have a complete history when we worship at the shrine of our ancestry in 1900? Let it be after enclosed style. Hope you are all well. Martha has had and is still having more than her share of affliction. Stacie was visiting at Broadway yesterday.
Affectionately,
Ida M. CahoonCollection
