Dear Brother,
The check of thirty two
dollars is received Please to inform me
in your next which of the two I shall
give credit for the same and at what
date. The Bank Stock you mentioned we
are willing to take Should be willing
to take Brother Brown's If he should think
Best to sell it Should they see fit to
send me any more money soon should
be glad if they could make it convenient
to have it arrive previous to the first day
of April next
Dear Sister I long time wanted to write to you but it is
so seldom that I write that even when opportunity occurs
a want of ideas together with a want of words to express
the few that I have render it extremly difficult for me
to get any thing any on paper that might prove acceptable or
rather I would say be inteligible for judging by my own feelings
I think you like to see any kind of a mark favor a sister
the last few lines you wrote to me wer peculiarly gratifying and
consoling would I could have more of them. give my best regard
and deepest sympathy to Julia Ann I have wished verry much
to see her particularly since losing her child I wish you would
let me know how she is getting along. why do your children
neve write I should be happy to hear from them all. give my
love to sister B and all hre family I want to see you all
it would take me a day write all that I would like to
write. I think however that I shall do it before long.
EA Yours in love Julia
