2022.P.08.11.17.1-6 According to a 09/04/1961 West Life article clipping found in album 2022.08.14.01, these pictures show young dancers from the Jones School of Ballet performing for an audience of 150 kids at the Bay Village Public Library for their Summer Reading Club participants who completed the requirements to earn a certificate which was presented on 08/25/1961. Mrs. Walter Below introduced the dancers. All dancers perform in front of a curtain (covering a window?) with midcentury print. The dark, jasped, linoleum floor of the Library is visible. 3. Ann Westfall and Richard Below perform "Slumber Land Express." Westfall wears black tap shoes with bows, a large brimmed hat and a leotard under a white shawl. Below is weraing a sort of engineers unform with cap and holds a lantern in his left hand. He is wearing sneakers.
