City D Sir:
Mr Williams will be unable to call on me before 12 o'clock to-morrow when I hope to close our last deal.
After we parted yesterday I remembered that the interest on the $5.600 was 5 pr ct. instead of 6 pr ct, and working a new computation I fined the amounts to be deducted from the $2400 to be as follows:
Int on $5,600.00 from June 1, 1901 to Sept 25 1901. 3 mos 24 days - at
5 perct $88.66
Stamps 11.25
Notary Fees .40
$100.31
Cash $2400.00
Deduct 100.31
Check $2,299.69
