Miss Ida Cahoon,
North Dover, Ohio,
Dear Miss Cahoon:
I am enclosing your herewith bills obtained from Mr. Salen's office this morning, covering the costs of your two cases, Nos. 106,559 and -106,560.
I am also returning you herewith the bills which you sent me in January in the same matters. You will notice that these January bills are for the unpaid plaintiff's costs. The bills which I send to you this morning cover both plaintiff's and defendant's costs, and there is a separate statement of the costs which you have heretofore paid, amounting to $109.30.
My recollection is that there was a discount on this printer's bill and that you paid less than this bill shows, but I have not the items that you paid. You sent me check at the time and I turned it over.
The total costs now owing are $89.52, of which $10.72 are defendant's costs, and $78.80 are plaintiff's costs. This is an increase of $5.46 over the bills sent to you in January, which are covered, I suppose, by the last items. in these two bills of March 7th.
I had supposed that in paying the Legal News

for advertising I had paid the little item of $1.35 which appears in each bill, but it appears not.
If there is anything about these bills which you do not understand, please refer them to me, and I will endeavor to ferret it out and make it plain to you.
Yours Truly,
Jas. W. Stewart
