Yours of 16th ult was recd. Day before yesterday your suit was decided. The costs are to be first paid out of the $492.71 in my hands, & then $200 to Mr Smith, & the balance to you. The clerk is yet too much engaged to tax the case. Our fees are $25. Then these will probably be between $240 & $250 to remit to you.
I do not think we can complain of of the result. The evidence was so vague uncertain or to leave room for much doubt.
Please inform me how I shall remit to you, whether by draft on Bank in Philadelphia, or ???
Respectfully Hc [etc]
