Description
Lydia Cahoon rag doll by Ruth Purdy. Cream colored fabric. Face is embroidered with two black button eyes. Hair is brown yarn. Red fabric with white polka dots. Closed in the back with three snaps. Sleeves are 3/4 length with lace at the end. Hands are solid with fingers sewn in a line. Apron is white fabric with scoop neck and apple ribbon trim at the bodice Gathered skirt. Lydia Cahoon is embroidered on the apron. Slip in white fabric with lace at the bottom. Pantaloons with lace on the bottom. Slip on black vinyl shoes. Hat has a turned up brim with matching apple trim and matching red polka dot fabric gathered for the main section.
*The doll was not undressed due to the clothing being tight.
