Milk glass compote, covered, 8-1/2".
1996.S.027A is the bottom bowl. The bowl has a scalloped edge with three rows of decoration separated by bands of raised circles. Top and bottom rows are alternating triangles bordered by raised circles with raised circle in middle of every other triangle. Middle row is raised ovals surrounded by raised circles and running horizontally. Ovals are separated by raised daisies. Bottom surface of the compote is decorated with a centered six petal daisy pattern encircled by a band of raised circles toward the outer edge.
1996.S.027B is the lid. Three bands of raised designs around the lid with a large raised knob with vertical lines in a sunburst pattern. From the top of the lid the bands are inverted teardrops with borders of raised circles. Teardrops separated by raised circles at bottom of band. Middle band consists of raised ovals running horizontally bordered by raised circles and separated by daisies.Lower band is alternating triangles.Collection
