Description
Wedding dress with a net bodice that has two strips of embroidered floral netting on either side of the bustline of peach, soft green and brown that extends to the back waist. These have an unattached band of sheer fabric opening to the center. The sheer fabric may have originally gone across the shoulders but has now deteriorated in the is area. Additional netting forms a cap sleeve over the attached short net sleeve which is plain at the top with a band of embroidered netting with a band of sheer fabric below that matches that on the bodice. Wide 6 1/2" silk cumberbun with a 4 1/2" flower of the same fabric off center at the top. Skirt of silk is plain with 29 covered buttons, with an additional one missing, down the front left hip from the waist to the knee.
Back has a square open neckline with the same colored fabric band with a 12 snap closure. There is a large bow at the waistline in the back of the same fabric that has two long streamers with tassels at the end coming close to the hem.
