Hand appliqued placemats with organdy fabric with a Madeira-style cutwork and hand embroidery. The design included scalloped edges with a floral leaf motif created using a combination of satin-stitch embroidery and needle lace techniques. There is a set of four with four matching napkins [2026.T.11.1]. Back and front are totally encased.
