Based on a plan submitted in May 1955 by G. H. Drake and using overall data established by Chas. W. Root, C.E. in June 1918 in the division of the Estate of Henry W. Aldrich.
Parcel No. 1 retains the original house and No. 2 the two story frame barn built in 1830.
Notation on the right side of the blueprint "Print of original tracing See Rev. print date May 25 1977". Pencil marking also redrew the lot line on the southern portion of the parcel.
Plot is at the corner of Lake and Bradley Roads showing the proposal that splits the Drake portion of land. The potential problem, which is addressed in a handwritten letter by George Drake dated April 25, 1977, involves the barn which would be isolated from the house on the old lot. A memorandum (A) is attached by Building Commissioner Gomola, referring the proposal to the Planning Commission as this is not permitted.
Reference in the attached letter (B) provides a history of the original Aaron Aldrich land and that a proposal was previously submitted and approved but apparently not recorded. An addition includes that the buyer of the lot would have to agree to either move the barn back an approved distance or tear it down and use the materials on a new location.
