Watercolor painting by Ethel Sadler that was given to Molly Briggs of Rose Hill Museum. The painting depicts the west side of the house with green grass, brown drive and walkway.There are clouds in the sky toward the middle and scattered shrubbery, one near the front porch, north end of the side porch and two on the posts.
Frame is double matted with off white inner mat and brown outer. 3/4" gold wooden custom frame with rope exterior edge, 3/8" concave area and small dotted row of detail. Back: inner board evident with brown paper backing, felt circles at the bottom corners, screwed in hinges on the sides with copper plastic enclosed wire for hanging.Dimensions
