Santa 16 1/2" Doll with blue dress
2008.Y.04A. Head is made out of bisque with an open mouth and four teeth. Eyes are blue rocker eyes with brown painted eyelashes and eyebrows. Rosy cheeks. Appropriate wig is blonde with straight bangs and curly shoulder length hair. 100% synthetic, Made in Japan. New skull cap. Fully articulated ball jointed arms and legs. Body is made of composition material.
Original clothing except for socks and shoes.
2008.Y.04B Dress" Blue cotton fabric. Stand-up collar of white embroidery. Fitted top with sleeves as one, having two panels down the front consisting of a white picot fabric with outer edge of the same embroidered fabric. The panels start at the back waist and end 1" above the waist. The sleeves have the matching embroidered fabric. Gathered skirt with very full skirt having seam in the back. There are three tucks with two rows of the trim at the bottom. Four snaps at the back.
2008.Y.04C Slip of white cotton fabric that is lined with the same, plain sleeveless bodice. Gathered below with a same fabric 2" in length, 1/2" lace insert and gathered again with a 3 1/2" panel having 1/4" lace at the hem. Two snaps at the back bodice.
2008.Y.04D Pantaloons White cotton fabric. Pin tucks at the hem with 1/8" lace below. Snap at the waist.
2008.Y.04E Belt center section is the same fabric as the dress. Both outer edges have the same embroidered trim. White satin ribbon ties.
2008.Y.04F Replacement: Shoes are of a white vinyl material with beige soles. Ankle strap with button edged in soutache braiding. Bow at the front in white. (not removed due to the fragility)
2008.Y.04G Replacement: Socks are knit fabric and go half way up the leg.
