R.02: House and Places Reference Huntington Pump House is from the original John Huntington Estate in the late 1800's to irrigate his farm. 1. View from the lake looking SW. Cliff is included with the stairs down to the lake and the platform near the lake. Behind the platform is a small building that was used by the swimming guards until there was damage done during two storms, April 13th and 15th, 2018 and it had to be dismantled. 5 copies [2-3.25" x 4.375", 6" x 7", 8.5" x 11" and one with verbiage and city hall 8.5" x 7"] https://www.cleveland.com/metro/2018/04/storm_batters_and_dooms_historic_pump_house_at_huntington_beach_photos.html 2. View looking north with a walkway leading up to the pump house. Shrubs on both sides and trees surrounding it. Lamp posts on the left and a sailboat on Lake Erie. 3. Light sketch of the pump house without leaves on the trees showing the west side of the building and angles on the south side with five windows showing and the concession stand in the background. Written across the bottom: Huntington Estate Pump House, Artist RV Mariani. 4. View from the east end of the building featuring the concession stand with the Pump House visible. The overlook is featured with a fence around it and lamppost in the center. Tree off to the right. Lake visible with the area to the west extending out into the lake. 5. "Huntington Beach" by Sue Horton Larsen class of 1948. View with Lake Erie behind, sun bathers on the beach, life guard off to the right, brick building used for lifeguards in the center on the beach. Two staircases extending up to the park area with the pump house in the center and outlines of trees in front and to the sides. 2 copies, 8.5" x 11" on cream cardstock. 6.
