Children's straw hat with a decorative ribbon that has a gold edge and blue and gold vertical design. Ribbon goes around the top edge of hat and forms three bows. Straw was originally in 1 1/4" strips that were sewn together to create the hat and form a point in the back. Originally a striped cream colored ribbon was attached as a tie that has desinigrated. A narrow white ribbon has been added on both sides to form the current tie. There is a pink silk lining that is discolored with H. Laverty written on it.
