Bay Village Observer article, "The Beginnings of the Bay United Methodist Church," by Kay Laughlin from April 7, 2015. Laughlin provides an account of the founding of Bay United Methodist Church. The history of the church is tied together with the settlement of Dover and the Sadler family. The Sadler family was the first Methodist family in Dover. Features three photos.The first is of William and Elizabeth Saddler, the family that donated land and materials for the construction of the church. The other photos are the exterior and interior of the original frame church on the Sadler property.
