Scope and Content

"The Floating Fuller House" article in The Villager, for the July 13-16, 2023 printing. Taken from a Glimpse of the Past article by Michele Yamamoto, which is also on the Bay Village Historical Society website and Osborn Learning Center Computer. NOTE! - This article includes a sentence saying the house is celebrating its 130th year, which is most likely not true and was added probably from a Facebook or email post which was later corrected on the website post. The article wasn't submitted to The Villager and must have been taken from Facebook or a BVHS email. The Cuyahoga County Archives did research on the house summer of 2023 and found it may have been built in 1900. The article talks about how the former home of Irene Lawrence Fuller was moved from its original location just east of the Lawrence mansion on Lake Erie, part way by barge, to its current location at BAYarts in 1984. Includes 6 photos provided by the Bay Village Historical Society.
