The base of the tureen has an attached saucer. The saucer is rimmed with gold. The rose motif is on either side. It has two handles topped with a gold stripe. The lid has the rose motif on the top on either side of the handle. The handle has a small gold stripe on top. The lid is rimmed with gold. The lid has a spot for a ladle.
