Scope and Content

Two-masted sailboat with topsail. Traditionally, the sails would have been in two sections, a main sail and a top sail. Lake Erie commercial fishermen created one sail that supported the peak of the sail by riveting the sail to a pole to hold it aloft. Dimensions not provided.
