Dear Father.
I send you just a
line to let you know that
we are in Huntington, & have
atlast got into our own house.
Eugine had the measles on the
way here at a public house as
Hiram had on our return from
Michigan. After arriving here
& consulting the brethren, I con-
cluded to buy a house there
was for sale here. I give $500
turn out my horse & buggy for
$200. So you see we are without
train, without money, & rather
cramped for living. If you can
come & see us some of you we
should be excedingly glad. If you
& Mother are not able to come here
Back:
we shall be down to Dover as
as soon as we can get a train,
& the weather is so that we can
come with the children.
We have hird that your health
is also poor this spring, & we have
not hird from Mother in some
time. Will you not write im-
mediately, & let us know how
you are. Our love to all
the family
