Funeral service of J. Marshall Cahoon. UNDER THE BLUE SKY. THE FUNERAL SERVICES OF MARSHALL CAHOON WERE HELD. Many Friends Gather Upon the Beautiful Lawn to Hear the Last Tributes to a Dover Citizen. The funeral services over the remains of J. Marshall Cahoon, of Dover, were held yesterday afternoon at Rose Hill, his late home. The services were attended by several hundred friends, among them many Cleveland man. The beautiful lawn overlooking the lake was arranged with seats and the services were hold in the open air. The Arion Quartet, of this city, opened the impressive services by singing the Twenty-third Psalm. Rev. Z. Wager, pastor of the Dover Methodist Episcopal Church, read from the Scriptures and made remarks eulogistic of the career of Mr. Cahoon. The quartet sang "One Sweetly Solemn Thought," and Rev. D.P. Sulmer [Julmer added as a correction on one] a former pastor of the Dover Church, spoke feelingly of his acquaintance with Mr. Cahoon. Gilbert Elliott spoke of Mr. Cahoon as a citizen, praising his integrity, patriotism, and enterprise. Horatius Bonar recited an original poem appropriate for the occasion, and Rev. Dr. Kemble, presiding elder of the Cleveland district, offered prayer. The remains were taken to Lakeside Cemetery. The pall-bearers were Roy L. Gleason, Reuben Osborn, A.J. Michael, Dr. C.D. Ellis, H.P. Foote and H.C. Bowman
