Painting by Olive Pope Bailey, librarian at Rose Hill Library. The painting was inspired by looking out her window toward the mouth of the creek. Winter scene with an orange sky, Cahoon Creek in the right middle. Trees on the left and smaller ones on the right. Cahoon Barn is seen in the background. Olive lived in a house that has been demolished that was on the NE corner of Cahoon and Wolf Roads. The painting was given to Sarah Dodd, mother of Patricia Twitchell, when she was young.
Note included with the painting.
