Two piece wine suit dress.
Waist is of diagonally striped velvet. Stand-up collar that is partially missing on the left side. Hook and eye closures with the lining on two sides. Bottom has been cut off. Sleeves are lightly gathered at the top and curved at the bottom. There appears to have been closures on the exterior fabric and a buttonhole at the collar area at the front and back of the neck.
Skirt has panel of fabric in the front that is tacked at top on both sides and connects to the bustle on both sides. Wide ruffle at the bottom with double pleats going vertically and ruffle at the top.
Net blouse is missing.
